9 highlights of the South to visit in one day... This could mean more time on the beach, or more time to explore!
Mauritius, Mauritius, a Paradise Island found in the Indian ocean, four hours East of South Africa by plane. Its beautiful coconut trees, crystal blue sea and white sand. These images run through my mind all day!
There’s so much to see in Mauritius, you think two weeks is enough, but there are so many beautiful hidden gems to explore. I am lucky enough to visit Mauritius regularly as my family are from there, but I always end up missing something I wanted to see due to lack of time.
As the beaches are too good to miss out on, I would recommend relaxing by the sea as much as you can. A day trip in the south of Mauritius can easily cover a lot of highlights without taking up too much time. You can always revisit one of the highlights during your trip and explore more of the area, especially if you have set aside a good few days for exploring.
